". . . Are you just going to stare or you guys going to say something already!?"

You snapped after an annoying silence. I mean geez, was it that bad that you were a

country!?. . . .Okay you kinda lied about that too. You weren't really recognized

by anyone other then your self proclaimed "Brother", and even then you were pretty sure

it was just to humor you, and get you to work for him. Stupid guy. He eyed everyone and

crossed your arms. "Uh. . . Sorry, but I believe you two are a little-"

"Yeah right Norge! Great joke!" Mathias laughed, interrupting Tino's more timid voice.

"Its not a joke. . ." Lukas said taking another sip of his coffee. "Then explain why we

have never heard of, or seen her before." Emil asked rather accusingly, his scowl clearly

indicating he was not enjoying this joke. Lukas glanced to you for the answer, it seemed

he had at least not figured everything out yet. Of course, now you got to tell the full

fledged nations before you that instead of being one of them you were just some pipsqueak

island off the coast a bit further down south. For some reason you felt so much smaller

and needed a moment to find your voice under the five's strong gaze. "Well, I uh, I'm

just a micro-nation at the moment. . . B-But I'm working really hard to get stronger!"

You mentally face-palmed, the typical "I'm worthless now, but sometime in the far off

never going to happen future I'm going to be as strong as you!" Micro-Nation comment had

escaped your lips. Iceland raised an eyebrow, Finland smiled awkwardly, and Denmark was

in full blown laughter. Sweden and Norway had their usual pensive expression, but with

small undertones of annoyance and surprise. "Hah! You're just another wannabe island,

right?" You had the feeling Mathias didn't mean it to sound insulting. But that didn't

stop you from wanting to smack him upside the head. Luckily someone beat you to it. Two

people to be exact. "Just shut up already." Lukas mumbled. "Yeah, lay off her." Emil said

sharply, agreeing with his brother. Now it was your turn to seem surprised. For one,

Norway never really had any opinion when it came to you, so maybe he was deciding that

even though you lied, that at least you weren't someone bad. Iceland was a whole other

thing entirely. Since you two had met (Which was really only a few days ago) He always

seemed to be annoyed and awkward whenever you were around, but if he was standing up for

you now, it might mean he's trying to become friends? That's why you came this far up

north anyways right? To find new allies to help you grow into a real nation. This could

work out great! "So your a micro-nation too? Oh! Sweden and I both help out another micro-

nation every once in a while! Maybe you know him? Sealand?" Finland said acting like

being unrecognized was not as bad as it sounds. In all honesty, you didn't care before if

you were small. You worked, you listened, and you tried to grow. That was all that

counted. But just now these Nordics had just about shot down your confidence. Tino just

smiled, clearly not noticing how your spirits deflated when he classed you as something

lower then the rest of them. You could tell he was just trying to  find something in

common to make you feel better, he didn't mean to make you feel stupidly insignificant,

and I guess its the thought that counts right? "Yeah, I've heard of him." You sighed.

"Well, good then!" Finland laughed awkwardly, and silence soon followed. ". . . . So,

Micro-nation, right? Well that's not too bad! Hey I know! You came here looking for

advice right? Ahaha! Don't worry, I'll tell you everything you need to know! I'll be like

your brother or something!" Mathias smiled, standing up from his seat and pointing at

you. "Tch, no." You frowned, one so called "Brother" was enough, and you were about to

say something a bit rude before you stopped yourself again. 'These guys are actual

countries, it might be a good idea not to insult them. . . ' You cleared your throat and

stood up straight. "I am here to make allies in order to further the expatiation and

knowledge of my nation." You said as professionally as you could, which was really only

as well as that instructional video your boss gave you on how to discuss politics and

terms. Silence again before Denmark started snickering, Finland and Iceland joining them

this time. "W-Well that was rather formal."

"Are you kidding me Tino? She sounded like some little girl pretending to be a lawyer!

You're so funny ______!" Mathias joked. Really? Had being found out dropped their view of

you so low so quickly? "Sorry for trying to be polite then!" You snapped. "Oh calm down.

You were the one who started it anyways. Its not every day you meet someone of your

position able to speak like that." Iceland said, he had become bored with the

conversation again. 'Did he just insult me or praise me? Ugh, either way that kind of

stereotype on micro-nation pisses me off!' you fumed in your mind. You didn't even notice

that the others had gotten up until you felt Tino's hand on your shoulder. "We didn't

mean to upset you ______, honest. We were only kidding." He apologized. You looked up at

him, a bit startled after being snapped out of your thoughts. "Yeah, whatever." You

grumbled. "And I personally would love to be your friend, and I'm sure the others feel

the same way!" Tino smiled reassuringly. You blinked. 'Yes! Finally! Take that you stupid

idiot! I can make other friends!!' The idiot mentioned was your friend- well rather more

of an acquaintance- Your brother had introduced you to, and you would do odd jobs for him

on occasion, or sell him some of your produce. He was always shooting down your ideas at

becoming a real nation, though you knew he still supported you in it. "That's great!" You

replied, wanting to jump for joy and get back home as soon as possible to tell your boss.

"Hey you said the roads should be clear by now, right?" Tino nodded yes as a reply.

"Awesome! Can I use your phone?"

"Sure, its down the hall." Finland gestured towards the kitchen exit. "Thanks a bunch!"

You hugged him tightly before running out of the room. Tino's small laugh could be heard

as you skidded down the corridor, almost missing the phone. Now to just dial your boss's

number and tell him all the good- Your mind drew a blank as your index finger hovered

over the buttons. How could you have forgotten his stupid number!? You sighed, "No

worries, just call someone to pick you up and then tell your boss yourself _____." You

muttered to yourself. As you went through your small list of numbers, only one person

came to mind that could actually help you. Your brother. Great, another thing he could

tease you about, and on top of that, a nice long trip where he could brag about how big

you have gotten and talk about your lives and how they have been since you two last

talked. You begrudgingly dialed his number and waited for the receiver to pick up. It

kept ringing, and ringing, and ringing, and-

"Ciao? Chi è questo?" A clearly pissed off voice answered. Out of all people to

pick up why him?!

"Oi! Romano, where is that idiot "brother" of mine." You huffed, not really wanting to

deal with your friend's attitude right now.

"_____? Where the hell have you been!! Do you know how much work you have to do?! We

tried calling you at home but you didn't pick up! Don't you know better then to run off

without telling someone where you're going, idiot!"
He shouted, his voice was so

loud you pulled the phone away from your ear, leaving them ringing. You rolled your eyes

and snapped back at him. "Look, sorry, I was on a business related trip. Just put boss on

already!"

"You mean Spain? He's sleeping, why do you want to talk to that bastard! Where are you?"

You covered the phone with your hand and sighed. He was sleeping? What time was

it then? Or was your "Brother" just being lazy again. "Look, wake him up then! I need a

ride."

"Why didn't you ask me then! Do you like that Spanish bastard more then me now!"

"No, I just knew you would make a big deal about coming so far north to get me, kind of

like you are now! So stop being bitchy and put Spain on already, dammit!" Even just

talking to Romano got you cursing, blame it on hanging out with him too much as a kid,

but at least you had better control over your mouth then he did.

"Not until you tell me where you are, idiota!" Yeah, he sounded pissed, but that

was normal. "Fine! I'm at the-"

You were cut off by something hard and strong slamming into the back of your head. "Ow!

Shit!" You cursed and glared up at the feathered assailant. That stupid bird flew in

circles over you, dive bombing you every few seconds. "Get lost already!" You shouted and

the puffin, who only squawked as he aimed for your head again. "Oi! _______? Are you

okay?"

"Its nothing I just-" You were cut off when Mathias poked his head around the corner,

coming to investigate the noise. "What are you doing?" He asked. "Denmark stop that damn

bird or-"

"Denmark? Why is that bastard there?! _______ where are you!?"

"Romano just get Spain already before-" You were disrupted mid sentence when Mr. Puffin

swooped in and snatched the phone in its beak. "Hey! Come back here!" Denmark shouted and

tried to catch the bird.

"______?" You heard Romano's voice coming from the speaker. You jumped trying to

grab the phone as Mr. Puffin started to fly closer to the ceiling, only

to not only miss it but crash into Mathias who had the same idea. The two of you fell

into a heap on the ground. "Get off me!" You shrieked and scrambled to get free and get

the phone back.

"Wait, whats going on? ______ is that bastard hurting you?! Are those Nordic idiots

forcing you to stay there?!"

"Give the me the phone!" Denmark shouted at the bird, and of course Romano was

misunderstanding the whole event.

"Is that where you have been?! Stuck at those bastards house?!" your friend

shrieked over the phone, clearly concerned. Mr. Puffin flew to his

perch on the ceiling fan, and began to chew on the phone, pressing random buttons. "No!

No! No! Argh do something!" You shouted at Denmark.

"_______?! Do you need help?!!?" Romano defiantly sounded worried now. "Just stay on the phone! I'm getting Spain!"

"Wait! Romano, don't!" The bird continued to mash the buttons, and it would only be a

matter of time before it disconnected the call. "You stupid pigeon give it back, already!"

You screamed. The puffin obviously didn't like being compared to such a thing, as it

dropped the phone, letting it shatter on the floor. "Oh that's not good." Matthias said

looking down at the broken pieces on the floor, while Mr. Puffin seemed to be heckling

you with its squaks and shrieks. Your left eye twitched, before you turned around to face

the tall Nordic. "I need to get home, now" you knew for a fact that Romano was

going to freak out and tell Spain, ending in some misconception of alleged kidnapping.

You needed to stop this from getting even more out of control then it already was.

Matthias pouted. "You want to leave? Already?"

"Yes! Look, my friend is probably freaking out by now, and he's going to tell Spain. So I

need to get back before they both do something stupid." You explained quickly. "B-But. .

." His pout turned into a frown. "You can't leave."

"What are you talking about? The roads are clear, the storm is over. Of course I can!"

Did he not think it was safe or something? "No, you really can't ______. We won't let

you."

". . . . . Ahahahaha! G-Good one Denmark, now seriously I need to go." What did he mean

you couldn't leave?! He had to be kidding! R-Right? "I am being serious. . ." He looked

like he was debating on explaining the reason why but he didn't continue. "W-What do you

mean you are being serious? That's not funny!" His gaze didn't change. "Er. . .I really

hate to do this _________, but seeing as you wont stay any other way. . . Jade Islands,

we here by claim you as Nordic territory."

'. . . .Dammit.'

{Meanwhile, at Spain's house where Romano had visited wondering about your disappearance. The call had just disconnected. . . }

"Wait! Romano, d-"

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

"______? ______?!" Romano stared at the phone in his hand before storming off towards

Spain's room and shoving open the door. "Oi! Bastard get up! Jade Island is in trouble!"

He yelled, pushing the Spaniard out of bed seeing as he wouldn't get up. "A-Alright!

Alright! I'm up!" Spain yawned and rubbed his eyes. "What is all the fuss about Romano?"

"I already told you, idiot! _________ is in trouble!" the moody Italian huffed. Spain

instantly became more awake. "What do you mean trouble? What happened? Where is she?"

"I don't know! There was yelling and shouting and then the damn line got cut off!" He

tossed the phone at Spain rather roughly. "Well how can you be sure she is in trouble?

Maybe she was arguing with someone." He said as he caught the phone. "Someone took the

phone, I think it was one of the Nordic idiots, and then she started screaming for them

to give it back, and to let her go or something! Does that sound like a stupid argument,

bastard!!" Romano shouted. Spain frowned in concern. "No, it doesn't."

"Glad you finally agree! Now get the hell up already! We need to go save her ass!" Romano

stormed out the door, slamming in shut loudly behind him. Spain sighed. Yeah, now he was

worried. "Dios mío, ¿qué ha _______ metido en este momento..."
Hehehehe, yeah. . . Its been a while hasn't it ^-^'''

Sorry, I thought I would be able to relax over the summer, but I kind of branched off from this account and ignored it for a while. . . But at least now you have a new chapter! Enjoy! Sorry for the extremely late update!

I do not own Hetalia.
And the Nordics now own you.
